Assessment

I provide psychodiagnostic assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults. As a mother, I understand that children, no matter how old, can face many challenges in learning or interacting with others. I will actively collaborate with a child and their parents in creating an assessment plan with recommendations tailored to a child’s specific needs.

Assessment batteries are designed based on the referral question or purpose of assessment. Most commonly, a battery will include a clinical interview, self-report questionnaires (e.g. MMPI, MACI), and gathering of collateral information from a partner or caregivers. Depending on the referral question, some batteries can also include cognitive testing and other clinician administered tests (e.g. ADOS, Wechsler Scales).

I cannot guarantee a diagnosis, but the process will provide important information about an individual’s strengths and areas of growth, which informs treatment recommendations.
