Perinatal & Postpartum Adjustment

Worried? Excited? Guilty? Happy? Sad? Angry? Bored? Perpetually irritated? All of it? Or too exhausted to feel anything at all? Becoming a mother is overwhelming for most of us. Having a child often leads us to question many aspects of ourselves. But, it is possible make it through the frustration, exhaustion, and emotional darkness (also literal darkness- those night awakenings are tough). I’m a mom too. I’ve been there, and have found that there are ways to manage these emotional ups-and-downs, and find new ways of being. Let’s work together to heal, and transform this season of life into something meaningful.

Parenting Issues

Parenting is hard, and being the “best” parent feels impossible. Sometimes our child acts or speaks in ways that can trigger immediate irritation and anger without a clear reason. These reactions can be scary and confusing. I’m here to let you know that you’re not alone, and that it’s possible to overcome these frustrations to work towards becoming the parent you want to be.

Couples Therapy

Relationships are the cornerstone of our existence. However, even the strongest relationships can encounter stormy seasons. Therapy together is an opportunity to explore issues, communicate with one another, and find new ways to strengthen and rebuild the relationship. Work with me to identify, understand, and manage issues while improving communication, increasing compassion, and rebuilding trust.
